This is the specific rule that catches the most everyday travelers completely off guard. It is entirely illegal to bring e-cigarettes and vaping liquids into Mexico.

The country passed a strict federal ban on the import and sale of all vaping products a few years ago. Best case scenario, they just throw your expensive vape straight in the trash and give you a harsh warning.
